Consent Preferences

Filestor respects your right to control how your data is collected and used. This page explains the categories of data processing you can opt into or out of.

This cannot be disabled. Essential processing includes: authenticating your identity and maintaining your session; enforcing plan limits and entitlements; processing the file operations you initiate against your connected storage roots (R2, S3, agent); storing your organization membership, group memberships, and role / ACL assignments; issuing presigned URLs and Cloudflare Tunnel handoff URLs for direct downloads; and sending transactional emails (verification, password reset, invitations).

When enabled, we collect anonymized usage data to understand how the platform is used and where we can improve. This includes page views, feature usage frequency, and error rates. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to individual users.

You can opt out of analytics at any time. Opting out does not affect your access to any platform features.

When enabled, we may send you emails about new features, platform updates, tips for using Filestor, and relevant product announcements. These are distinct from transactional emails (which are always sent for account security purposes).

You can unsubscribe from product communications at any time using the link in any such email.

Filestor does not currently share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your file contents stay in the storage providers you connect (R2/S3) or on your agent hosts — they are not redistributed. If our data-sharing practices change in the future, we will update this page and request your explicit consent before any such sharing occurs.
