Terms of Use

Last updated: May 14, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Filestor platform, operated by Mediumworx LLC, doing business as Filestor, including the web app at app.filestor.com, associated APIs, the Filestor agent binary, and documentation (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Accounts are available to individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Each account belongs to one person. You may create and manage organizations, invite team members, assign roles (viewer, editor, admin), and form groups with folder-level ACL grants within your organization.

3. Permitted Use

Filestor provides a multi-tenant file explorer for Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, and customer-side agent storage, with full-text search, role- and ACL-based access control, and direct-download bandwidth handoffs. You may use the Service to browse and manage your own storage, share access with members of your organization, and collaborate within groups.

You may not: use the Service to violate any law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, agents, or organizations; interfere with the operation of the Service; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by applicable law; or use the Service for competitive benchmarking without written consent.

4. Plans and Limits

The Service is offered at a flat rate of $10 per month per organization plus a $1 service charge. Your subscription includes unlimited organization members, unlimited Cloudflare R2 / Amazon S3 / agent storage roots, group-based ACLs, full-text search, and the direct-download bandwidth optimization via presigned URLs and Cloudflare Tunnel. Plan details are displayed on the Pricing page and on your Billing page. We reserve the right to modify plan offerings with reasonable notice.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you store through the Service, including file contents in your connected R2/S3 buckets and on your agent hosts, storage configurations, search indexes, organization metadata, and access policies. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

You grant Filestor a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service — including listing and reading files from your connected storage, issuing presigned URLs for downloads, signing Cloudflare Tunnel handoff URLs for agent reads, and building search indexes from the file metadata and content snippets you make accessible.

6. Storage and Agent Responsibilities

You provide the credentials Filestor uses to access your storage — R2/S3 access keys for bucket roots, enrollment tokens for agent roots, and Cloudflare Tunnel hostnames + signing keys for direct downloads. You are responsible for keeping those credentials accurate and for the security of any agent installations you operate on your own hosts.

Filestor agents run on machines you control. You are responsible for the operating system, network connectivity, allowed-roots configuration, and the cloudflared deployment that fronts the agent. Filestor is not liable for data loss resulting from file operations, deletions, or configurations you initiate.

We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the platform's availability and the integrity of your control-plane data, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk to the platform.

Upon termination, your access to the Service ends immediately. We will retain your control-plane data for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be deleted from active systems. Your files in connected R2/S3 buckets and on agent hosts are not affected by account termination — they remain in your storage providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filestor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
