Getting started

Create an account, sign in, accept invitations, and find the main Filestor workspace areas.

What Filestor does

Filestor is a web workspace for browsing, previewing, searching, sharing, and publishing files from storage you control. Most day-to-day work starts in Explorer.

First session

  • New users can create an account from Sign Up.
  • Returning users can open Log In.
  • If your workspace uses invitations, accept the invite from your email and Filestor will place you in the right workspace.

Main areas

  • Explorer is the file manager.
  • Storage is where admins connect roots and agents.
  • Notes is for Markdown writing and publishing.
  • Organization manages members and permissions.
  • Billing manages plan state and transactions.
  • Account manages personal security settings.
